What I loved about it!

Denise’s book took the truths she learned from winning six months paid international travel to review honeymoon sites (jealous!) and showed me how I could apply it to my personal life, my work, and also my love life.  Not bad for one book!  Denise is completely honest with her readers when she shares her experiences and her advice. I loved her honesty and seeing how it’s not just a one-time deal to attract luck, fame, and wealth but rather a constant practice and hard work.  Very refreshing!  Got a monetary goal you want to reach?  Have a dream life you want to live?  Yearning for the feeling of success?  This book can help put you on the right path by showing you the mindset needed.

What makes Denises’s book unique?

I honestly haven’t read many self-help books (not to say that I don’t need to!) but Denise’s surprised me.  She fills every chapter with lessons and action steps.  She really breaks down the 10 Lucky Bitch Commandments that she still follows (the same ones that helped her become a published writer and business coach).  I closed the book feeling like I had a million new ideas but also a much stronger drive to move toward my dream life!

Best of the best?

Denise’s approach is holistic and I completely agree that when your body is in good health, so is your mind, your creativity, and the energy you put out in the world.  If you’ve been looking for a complete kick-in-the-butt to get out of some bad business habits or the couch potato syndrome, you are going to love this book!

To be honest, I was skeptical when I started reading Lucky Bitch.  I can only handle so much woo-woo but Denise’s book completely blew my socks off!  I was able to look back at the times I’d felt lucky in my life and realize that I’d been following Denise’s commandments without knowing it.  Now I intend to use more of her advice to get closer to the dream life I want to live and the dream business that it includes!
