More than ever, online business owners and bloggers are craving in-person connection and networking. A workshop, conference or retreat can be incredible sources of inspiration, growth and expansion. To get away from the grind of your day-to-day and immerse yourself in a space that was built to encourage your dreams is a benefit no creative business owner can refuse!
My friend, Kerry Burki (editor of Handmade Success) is putting on a creative business planning and yoga workshop in Portland, OR with two of her colleagues on June 7, 2014. Click here to read the complete details and get your ticket!
Since leading an in-person retreat has been on my wish list for quite some time, I had to get Kerry on a call right away. As offline events are of interest to us all, I figured I would record our meeting as she shared a behind-the-scenes look to make an event happen.
Here’s how to build an offline event with Kerry Burki:
Hi Lisa,
Thats was a great video or should i say a chilled conversation over drinks. It was so laid back it was like i have known you and Kerry for years. I have had the pleasure of working with Kerry on a handmade blogging series i did a while back. I love her site and yours.
I so can identify with all the notebooks, documenting ideas and not wanting to throw away any. I was like oh my gosh that’s me, i’m not alone in wanting more notebooks to store my ideas :).
I love the idea of moving from online connections to real connections it sounds awesome. I wish you all the success with your workshop Kerry.
Also I hope you and Kerry have more video conversations because you two have so much to share.
Blessings Janet
